Photo Contest

2019

BeHeld

BeHeld is an online photography contest
seeking to elevate local Asian American DMV creative voices
in the spirit of collaboration, community, and Communion.

We take hundreds of pictures and never look at them again. The ones we do like, we post on Instagram but are more worried about likes than what the images might make people feel.

This is a call for the opposite. Can we create images that evoke an emotion that answers some of the deeper challenges we face as a generation?

When was the last time you felt the wonders, joys, and peace to BeHeld?

All profits will be donated to Grace Community Clinics Medical Mission Team to Kenya.

Here&There
The intersection of work, passion, and calling.

They say home is where the heart is. While we find ourselves in the here and now we’re thinking about and wondering what it’s like being there. What does that place look like? could it even be considered sacred?

*Suggested genres: Travel, nature/landscape, architecture, etc
